Friday October 17th
We left Friday morning around 9:15 to drive back to Sacramento. It was a fun couple of days. We stayed at The Inn at Calistoga. It was very nice. It has a mineral water pool and hot tub and a sauna. Coffee in the room and continental breakfast in the morning. It is located just out side Calistoga near the Silverado trail.
We had a nice plane ride back to Phoenix and stopped in to see the Wine Princess

Thursday October 16th
Thursday we started our tasting at Sterling Winery. You ride a gondola up the hill and take a self guided tour of the winery. We saw some grapes being crushed and a fantastic view of Napa Valley from the terrace. We lunched at Clos Pegasa again and then went to Beringer Brothers Winery. Spent the rest of the day in Napa. Returned to Calistoga and had dinner at the Calistoga Inn. Delicious.

Winery Tours 10/15/08
Today we toured three wineries. Jeri decided to be designated driver for the day. We started at
Castello di Amorosa. It's a castle built like the castles of Europe. Fantastic and the wine is delicious. We had lunch at Clos Pegasus and then went to Robert Mondavi Winery. There we met Kelly Benson from Sylvania, Ohio and Brenda Dudderar from Oregon, Ohio, suburbs of Toledo, Ohio. The Wine Princess is from Toled0. We finished the day with dinner at the Rutherford Grille where I had my 209 martini and ostrich. Dinner was delicious.

On the road again
Arrived this afternoon in Calistoga, Ca. for three days of touring the wineries and tasting the wine in the Napa valley. Neal, Jeri, Lou, Sandi and I flew in to Sacramento and took the scenic route to Calistoga. Karen aka the Wine Princess couldn't make the trip but she sent her representative as seen in the pictures.
