NAPA VALLEY WINE TOUR 2009 EVENING DAY 3

Wednesday evening we had dinner on the Wine
Train so we stayed in Napa. What a find. We stayed
at Best Western Elm House Inn
800 California Blvd. Easy access to Rt.29.
The innkeepers are Tom and Connie Kearns
and their son Ted. We were welcomed by Ted
told that there would be fresh home made cookies at
6:00. We mentioned that we were doing the Wine
Train and wouldn't be there. He offered to put on in our
Rooms for us. It was absolutely delicious. He also called a taxi
to take us to the Wine Train. Needless to say, the
Wine Train dinner was excellent and a good time
was had by all.

This is the lobby. Behind the couch is where breakfast is served .
There are many choices: bagels, assorted breads, oatmeal with
various toppings, hardboiled eggs, fresh baked mimi loaves of
bread. Thurs. was orange cranberry and Fri was pumpkin pecan
and to top it off either Tom, Connie, or Ted is in the kitchen
creating Belguim waffles to order. All of this was served on real
dishes with real sliverware and real coffee cups.
Also, in the room there is a coffee pot with real mugs and real wine
glasses

We stayed here Wed and Thurs night. It was fantastic, very
much like a B&B, only better. Service was supurb and very friendly.
Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to insure
our stay was enjoyable.
If you're headed to Napa, stay here. Make reservations as soon as you
decide to go. This is a small hotel and fills quickly.
Phone number is 707-255-1831
