THE LOST AFTERNOON

Sunday after Luxemburg gardens we walked up to French version of the Pantheon. I must say that I perfer the Roman Pantheon, but the one here in Paris is a tribute to the heroes and patriots of France. Many are buried here. Its a beautiful building inside with wall murals all around the building. Many having to do with St. Geniveve the patron saint of Paris. It was cool in the building and in the crypts. A welcome relief from the 75degree heat. After we toured the Pantheon we started back to the apartment stopping for a snack at a cafe on "Bul Misch". After the snack I walked back to the apartment crossing the Seine on Pont Neuf. View walking up the street.
