BERLIN

Arrived in Berlin this morning around 11:00. It was cold and rainy. We found our way to the elevated train we needed to take to reach our Pensionne. Got off the train and walked the few blocks to the hotel. The room is adequate and clean, we have our own bathroom and it is only 60.00 Euros a night. We dropped our luggage off and went in search of food. Rick Steves recommended a place called Zillemarkt so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was delicious and so was the beer. After lunch we strolled down a main street. I found a camera store that sold sony chips so now I can take another 4,000 pictures. We stopped in a cafe for coffee and dessert and practically rolled back to the hotel. Room 60.00 euros a night
German Beer. I had two

This fed the two of us. Two cabbage rolls, a pork nuckle, assorted

sausages, saurarkrut, pork meatballs, curry potatoes and some kind of

pea concoction. It was very good.
